In memory of Maximus RaffleAHT Rescue will be raffling off a special scarf in memory of our dear Max, who died on October 1 of this year.Max joined AHT on January 24, 2020 after 17 years working downtown as a Caleche horse. This gentle giant captured the hearts of all who met him. The hand woven on a loom scarf made in his memory has his colouring along with some AHT red, which suited him so well. In addition, a portion of his jet black mane has been woven into each end of the scarf. Max and Rusty Painting!AHT Rescue will be raffling off this 14″ x 18″ original acrylic painting titled “Max and Rusty”. The painting was donated by local artist Lori Coté, who does pet portraits. She can be reached on Facebook. Max and Rusty are two retired calèche horses who have found friendship together who now call AHT their forever home. Often, they can be seen standing beside one another by the tree in their paddock or in an open-at-both-ends stall. Tickets are $10 each or 3 tickets for $20 and available online using the link below.
