Rod Young Memorial Fund

On August 28th 2017, longtime AHT and lifetime member Rod Young passed away.

To say that Rod was a constant presence at the barn is a bit of an understatement. Rod was always at the barn: one moment fixing a fence or doing some wiring and the next moment hugging a horse or making someone smile.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”9729″ img_size=”large”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]

To honour his wishes we have created the Rod Young Memorial Fund in his memory.

This fund will be used for specific purchases in his name. Rod had always wanted this so we know that it would have made him happy to continue to be able to help AHT in his honour.

Thank you for honoring such a wonderful man with an amazing giving heart. He will be greatly missed.

I would have loved Rod had I been lucky enough to have known him. I hope that at my age and as a future volunteer at HT- I can muster up 10% of his enthusiasm and devotion.
