AHT Featured in the Montreal Gazette
A Horse Tale’s VP Mike Grenier was interviewed this weekend by Kate Sheridan of the Montreal Gazette in regards to the winter shelter and work that needs to be done as part of our winter fundraising effort. Featured on the cover picture is AHT barn manager Caroline Handy, along with 10 year old Ethan Mason who spent part of his summer creating bracelets, selling them and then donating the proceeds to A Horse Tale. AHT Day in the Country Media Coverage
Our awesome Day in the Country fundraiser has received some pretty good coverage so far. On Wednesday July 27th, our President (Steve Bilas) and VP (Mike Grenier) were interviewed by Kim Sullivan from Global TV and then today July 29th, our Director of Media & Marketing (Darren Mayoff) was interviewed by Ted Bird from the 106,7 The Jewel Radio station in Hudson. Then, the morning of the event Darren was also interviewed by Dave Fisher of CJAD AM 800. Check out the clips below. AHT at Au Galop
This past weekend on July 2 & 3rd AHT got to spend some time promoting the rescue at Au Galop festival in the town of St.Lazare. The organisers were kind enough to think of us and provide us with our own little booth. The crowds themselves were massive and thanks to to the organizing team of Au Galop, our booth was placed in an excellent location which allowed us the most visibility possible. Loads of people stopped by to ask about our group, where we’re located, what our history is and of course about the horses. Plus we took the opportunity to tell people all about our upcoming “Day in the Country” fundraiser. We even got a surprise visit from St.Lazare mayor Robert Grimaudo who stopped by to say hello. In all, a great time was had. Thank you so much to the organisers of the Au Galop for a great event!

Notre organisme désire offrir ses commentaires au sujet de la décision du maire de Montréal, M. Denis Coderre de retirer les calèches, les chevaux et les clochers dans les rue de Montréal pour un an. Le Refuge Une Histoire de Chevaux a toujours et continuera toujours à demeurer sans engagement politique reliées à cet industrie. Ce qui nous concerne et qui nous intéresse est le future et le bien-être des chevaux qui sont impliqués. Le Refuge Une Histoire de Chevaux aimerai participer et aider dans cette situation, l’organisme est prêt à travailler avec la ville de Montréal ou tout autres agences impliquées pour relocaliser un nombre maximum de chevaux et possiblement trouver un endroit permanent pour quelques un de ces…
